Cristian Ganea’s contract terminated
Athletic Club and Cristian Ganea have come to an agreement allowing the player to end his contract with the club.
Athletic Club and Cristian Ganea have agreed to terminate the player’s contract with the club. It was set to expire in June 2021.
After coming to an agreement with Athletic Club in January 2018, left-back Ganea arrived in Bilbao six months later ahead of the 2018-19 season. He spent that campaign on loan at LaLiga SmartBank side, CD Numancia, making 17 appearances.
Before heading out on loan, he made his Athletic Club debut in a Copa del Rey match against SD Huesca. For the second half of last season -before the coronovirus outbreak- he returned on loan to his previous club Viitorul Constanza, in Romania.
