Athletic Club welcomed FC Barcelona at San Mamés in the first leg of the Spanish Supercopa during the 2015-16 season. The red-and-white side beat the visitors 4-0. It gave Ernesto Valverde’s lads a considerable advantage in their visit to Camp Nou, allowing them to lift the trophy for the first time in 31 years.
Mikel San José opened the scoring with a goal from the midfield that will be always remembered, and Aritz Aduriz competed the rout with a hat-trick on a magical evening at La Catedral. Relive the full match today, on its fifth anniversary.
