Bilbao Athletic kick off pre-season against Santurtzi

Bilbao Athletic begin their pre-season friendly campaign on Friday evening in Lezama.

The coaching staff have scheduled eight fixtures in one month, the first of which takes places on Friday 11 behind closed doors at 18:00 against third division side Santurtzi.

On Wednesday 16, the reserve side will face another Tercera División side, Gernika, at 19:30 in Lezama and on Saturday 19 Athletic’s B team will play Burgos in El Plantío at 18:00.

The following week also has two fixtures, on Wednesday 23 they face Racing Santander in El Sardinero at 18:00 and on Saturday 26, the reserves take on Sodupe at 17:00 in the Hurtado de Saratxo.

In the final week of September, Joseba Etxeberria’s players face recently promoted Portugalete in La Florida on Wednesday 30. Then on October, Saturday 3, they receive Haro in Lezama at 11:30Am and one week later they travel to Gijón to play Sporting B, kick-off time still to be confirmed.
