Euskaltel and Athletic Club have renewed their sponsorship agreement for the 2020/21 season, thereby continuing the connection that has existed between the two entities for the last eight years. The signing of the agreement took place in Ibaigane Palace and the presidents of both institutions, Xabier Iturbe and Aitor Elizegi, were present.
In 2013, Athletic Club and Euskaltel reached an agreement that made the telecommunications company Athletic Club’s technological provider and official sponsor of the first team. The agreement was strengthened when Euskaltel reinforced their commitment by becoming principal sponsor of the women’s team. Since then, the women’s first-team has worn the entity’s logo on its shirt.
This renewal as Athletic Club’s technological supplier and official sponsor of Athletic Club Women is a reflection of Euskaltel’s commitment to supporting Athletic Club, both in the technological adaptation of the Club’s telecommunications services and in the promotion of women’s sport. It is a pledge that remains firm and acts as a reflection of the values of the telecommunications company, where equal opportunities are at the heart of its activity.
Furthermore, through this collaboration Euskaltel intends to keep offering exclusive experiences to its customers and all of the Club’s supporters, despite the fact these activities are currently on hold due to the distance measures imposed as a result of COVID-19.
