Elizegi presented Sabalza with an image displaying the Osasuna eleven from the second match between our two teams
Athletic Club have given Club Atlético Osasuna a historic photograph to commemorate the Pamplona-based side’s centenary. Club president Aitor Elizegi will hand over the photograph, which shows the Osasuna starting XI that faced Athletic in a friendly at San Mamés on December 8, 1925. It was the second ever match between the two teams and finished 5-1 in Athletic’s favour.
Osasuna’s president, Luis Sabalza, received the gift with gratitude. The Osasuna players shown in the image: Osés, Abascal, Juanín, Ochoa, Urquizu, Ariz, Purroy, Goiburu, Miqueo, Gurrucharri and Lusarreta.
