Athletic and Real Sociedad, through their respective foundations, are raising funds for the Doctors of the World charity
Athletic Club and Real Sociedad, in an initiative promoted by their foundations, have organised a charity auction in light of New Year’s Eve’s derby, which kicks off at 14:00 CET. The strips used by footballers from both sides will be auctioned off on the Dutch platform MatchWornShirt, which specialises in these kinds of auctions.
All the funds raised via the event will be given to the charity Doctors of the World Euskadi, which celebrated its 25th year of existence in 2020. In turn, Doctors of the World Euskadi will allocate the donation to projects in Euskadi (Spanish Basque Country), where it defends the Right to Health for all people.
How to take part
The bidding will start as soon as the match kicks off and it will end four days later on Monday, January 4. To participate in the auction, you just have to register and make an offer HERE for the Athletic jerseys and HERE for the Real Sociedad jerseys. The links will be activated at kick-off.
