The lions will don a special edition top for the Supercopa 2021
Athletic Club’s players will wear a special edition jersey for their Supercopa 2021 campaign.
The tournament based in Andalusia, with a ‘final four’ format, kicks off for Athletic on Thursday night, with Real Madrid, FC Barcelona also Real Sociedad the other teams in the hunt for the trophy.
The Athletic jersey will include two additional elements: a crest with the competition logo and a patch on the right sleeve with the no.2 above the Supercopa logo, thus representing the number times Athletic have lifted the Super Cup trophy (1984 and 2015).
The special edition Elite jersey -the same one players wear during matches- for the Supercopa can be purchased via the Club’s online store at its normal price, but these additions and printing (name and number) are free.
Athletic play Real Madrid on Thursday night (21:00 CET), and if the Lions win, they will face either FC Barcelona or Real Sociedad in Sunday’s final in Seville.
