Iñigo Juaristi names 11 Athletic players in his squad for this weekend’s Basque Country International Football Cup at Zubieta
Eleven Athletic Club Women players have been called up to the Basque national team squad by coach Iñigo Juaristi.
The Basque Football Federation announced the squads which will take part in the Basque Country International Football Cup at Zubieta on Sunday, April 11.
Nigeria’s Women’s team pulled out of the tournament due to “bureaucratic issues”. Therefore, the Basque Country International Women’s Cup will be a triangular competition between the Basque national team, Argentina and Venezuela.
Athletic players called up
Eunate Arraiza, Ane Azkona, Yulema Corres, Andrea de la Nava, María Díaz , Sophie Istillart, Amaia Peña, Marta Perea Naroa Uriarte , Ohiane Valdezate and Ainhoa Moraza.
