Informative event on sports injuries

Athletic Club and Canon Medical have organised an informative event ‘Comprehensive approach to hamstring conditions’ in collaboration with IMQ and Ars Médica. You can watch the session via Athletic Club’s official Youtube channel on Friday, May 28 at 16:45 CEST.

The lecture will feature internationally renowned speakers in the field of sports injuries, including the medical services teams at Athletic Club, FC Barcelona, IMQ and Ars Médica, as well as others.

This initiative stems from the innovation agreement established between Athletic Club and Canon Medical, through which the Japanese medical equipment company is the Club’s Global Innovation Partner in the area of Medical Diagnostic Systems and Technologies. This agreement, which will be in force until December 2024, goes far beyond an ordinary sponsorship and focuses on potential implementations of innovative solutions in sports medicine at Lezama, in addition to outreach programmes and training events.

This will be the first of many future events in which Athletic Club’s scientific and medical knowledge will be shared with society as a whole.
