Petxarroman joins Athletic Club
The full-back, who arrives on a free transfer, has put pen to paper on a deal until 2024.
Athletic Club have signed Alex Petxarroman, with the right-back signing a deal until June 30, 2024.
After 11 seasons in Real Sociedad’s youth ranks, the 24-year-old San Sebastian native comes to Lezama as a free agent. He will join Marcelino García Toral and the first team for pre-season training next week.
Petxarroman, who is comfortable playing at right-back or as a defensive midfielder, got his start at Antiguoko (currently a club affiliated to Athletic) before making the move to San Sebastian. Last season, he made 20 appearances for Real Sociedad B, all of them as a starter, and scored two goals.
