First episode of a series on the AC Museum where we gather the impressions of four people linked to Athletic’s recent history
Andoni Zubizarreta, legendary Athletic keeper and winner of two LaLiga titles, a Copa del Rey and a Super Cup with the Lions, kicks off an exciting four-episode journey through the AC Museum and the Club’s recent recent history.
Athletic Club captain Iker Muniain, renowned Bilbao artist Darío Urzay and Eli Ibarra, the all-time appearance maker for Athletic Club Women, will also take part in our “A Museum of Legends” series.
In the first episode, the legendary goalkeeper of the 80s, the first-choice shotstopper who won the last two titles and the last Copa in 1984, describes the museum as “a space that envelops the visitor in the 100-year-long history of Athletic and celebrates the emotion of belonging to a community which we are all proud of. An essential link between players, members and other fans”.
