The Lions left for Germany at midday on Friday and will play their fourth pre-season friendly on Saturday
At midday on Friday afternoon, Athletic Club set off for Germany, where they’ll face FC Union Berlin in the capital city. Marcelino García Toral is taking 23 players with him: Ezkieta, Agirrezabala, Morcillo, Nuñez, I. Martínez, Vesga, I. Williams, Berenguer, Dani García, Lekue, Sancet, De Marcos, Zarraga, Villalibre, Capa, Raúl García, Balenziaga, Vencedor, Vivian, N. Williams, Paredes, Serrano y Petxarroman.
For various reasons, the following players will not travel with the squad: Unai Simón, Córdoba, Kenan Kodro, Nolaskoain, Yuri Berchiche, Vesga, Artola and Morcillo.
The clash against FC Union on Saturday will be the Lions’ fourth fixture of the 21-22 pre-season. The match will be available on our Youtube channel from 15:30 CEST (only available in Spain) and the stadium will be open to the public.
