The iconic facilities hosted youth football matches on Saturday
Slowly but surely life at Lezama is getting back to normal. On Saturday the facilities saw one of the Under-13s teams played a friendly match. Due to the pandemic, this was the first time in months youth teams had been present on a weekend.
The Under-18s and Under-17s were also there on Saturday, taking on partner clubs, Tudelano and Oyonesa. Family members were allowed to attend those matches.
In addition, other friendly matches were played in Santander against Racing and Bansander. The women’s Under-15s also played a triangular tournament in Vitoria against Mulier and Aurrera de Vitoria.
We are counting down the seconds until absolute normality returns and all the teams compete officially. This would be the best sign that the pandemic is being put behind us.
