San Mamés’ maximum capacity to be 31,786 for Rayo fixture
The latest measures adopted by the Basque Government now allow 60 per cent capacity at San Mamés
The new measures adopted by the Basque Government for the prevention of COVID-19 now allow football stadiums like San Mamés to fill 60 per cent of their seats, meaning The Cathedral will have a maximum possible capacity of 31,786 spectators against Rayo Vallecano on Tuesday September 22.
For now Athletic Club will maintain the stadium access method used in previous matches and a membership card alone will not be enough to enter the stadium. Members who signed up for tickets during the period established by the Club are now receiving their tickets via the email address provided, and tickets can also be downloaded through the Members’ Txoko and the official Athletic Club App.
The rest of the members and general public can purchase tickets as of Friday morning, September 17, both at the San Mamés ticket offices and on Athletic’s website.
