The Athletic coach returned to Mestalla and received a warm welcome from the Valencia fans.
Marcelino García Toral returned to Mestalla, the place he called home for two full seasons. He was given a warm reception upon his return, his successes at the club still fresh in the memories of the Valencia fans.
The Athletic boss managed Los Che during the 2017-18 and 2018-19 seasons, winning a Copa del Rey and leading Valencia to the Champions League in both seasons.
Saturday was a special day for Marcelino. We joined the gaffer on what was an emotional occasion which he was able to share with the Athletic Club fans.
