Athletic Club welcomes Ricardo Bochini, our One-Club Man 2022. The Argentinian star will participate in the Foundation’s ‘Letters and Football’ event on Friday before being honoured at San Mamés on Saturday
Ricardo Bochini, our 2022 One-Club Man in honour of his outstanding career at Club Atlético Independiente, is now in Bilbao. On Saturday afternoon, San Mamés will pay tribute to the legendary footballer just before Athletic Club vs Valencia CF kicks off.
Accompanied by members Athletic’s Board of Directors, the Argentinian football icon was welcomed to Bilbao on Friday by club president Aitor Elizegi, as well as Jose Angel Iribar and Marcelino García Toral.
‘Bocha’ will hold a press conference on Friday afternoon at San Mamés, at 18:00, before participating in a special edition of the Athletic Club Foundation’s ‘Letters and Football’ festival, where Eduardo Sacheri, one of the most important contemporary writers in Latin America, will also take part.
