Tickets are now on general sale for the match between Los Leones and Mexican side CD Guadalajara at San Mamés on December 11
In exactly one month's time, The Cathedral will host a friendly between Athletic Club and CD Guadalajara. This match will kick off celebrations for Athletic's 125th anniversary. Tickets are now available for the general public with special prices for Club Members and Club Athletic supporters.
Although LaLiga is on hold due to the World Cup in Qatar, the action at San Mamés does not stop and Athleticzales will have another opportunity to see Los Leones before the end of the year.
Tree of Gernika Trophy
The Bilbaínos and Mexicans share the particularity of exclusively fielding local players and neither side has ever been relegated to the Second Division in their respective leagues.
To celebrate these links, The Tree of Gernika Trophy has been created. It will be a two-legged duel, with the first leg being played at San Mamés on Sunday December 11 (19:00 CET), while the return leg will take place at the Estadio Akron in Guadalajara on July 16 2023.
Now that the priority purchase period for Members and Club Athletic supporters has passed, the general sale is now open for all those interested in acquiring tickets at the following prices:
- Lower South Stand & Lower North Stand: €20
- Upper South Stand & Upper North Stand: €25
- Lower Main Stand & Lower East Stand: €35
- Upper Main Stand & Upper East Stand: €25
Club Members and Club Athletic card holders are still able to buy tickets for the fixture at discounted prices. Each Member can purchase a maximum of two tickets at €13 each. They can also choose to purchase these tickets with the 'Family Pack', which includes an adult ticket at €13 and a child's ticket (up to 14 years old) for €8.
