Nekane Diez: On the scoresheet in every season at Athletic

With her strike against Villarreal, Nekane has scored at least one goal for Athletic for 16 seasons in a row

Nekane Díez got the final goal in Athletic Club Women's 1-6 victory over Villarreal CF on Saturday evening.

After coming off the bench, and with just two minutes on the pitch, the striker opened her account for this season, something which she has done every year since making her debut in 2007. That's 16 consecutive campaigns scoring for Athletic Club.

The striker has not lost her goalscoring instinct and with this effort she extends her record for scoring in consecutive seasons.
