Athletic Club Women to face Real Madrid in Copa semi-final

Athletic Club Women will take on Real Madrid in an unprecedented duel in the the Copa de la Reina semi-finals. The match is scheduled for Wednesday May 24 at 21:00 at the Estadio Butarque, Leganés.

The Merengues are currently second in Liga F and have also competed in the Champions League this season.

Iraia Iturregi's side have reached the final four after a 1-0 win over Madrid CFF in the last 16 and a 2-1 victory against CA Osasuna at Tajonar in the quarter-finals. Meanwhile, Alberto Toril's charges overcame Alba Fundación and Villarreal CF. 

The entire final phase will be played in Madrid. The other semi-final will be on Tuesday 23 at 21:00 while the final will be played on Saturday 27 at 22:00.
