The defender, who leaves with 112 appearances as a Lion, has been released from his contract
Ander Capa ends his time as an Athletic player after the Club decided to trigger a termination clause in the contract he signed in July 2022.
The full-back made 112 appearances as a Lion, scoring five goals.
The 31-year-old arrived at Athletic Club from SD Eibar ahead of the 2018-19. He was not a complete stranger to Lezama, as he had already some spent some of his youth career there.
Capa leaves the club with a Spanish Super Cup medal won against FC Barcelona in 2021. His best season was 2019-20, in which he played a total of 42 games and scored three goals under Gaizka Garitano.
