Pre-season friendly against Real Racing Club

Athletic Club will face against Racing Club Santander in our sixth confirmed pre-season friendly. The match will take place in the Cantabrian town of Santa María de Cayón, at 19:00 CEST.

This friendly joins those already announced against Chivas (16 July), Necaxa (19 July), Celtic (1 August), Eibar (3 August) and Manchester United (6 August).

Racing finished 12th with 54 points in their first season back in LaLiga Smartbank. The two sides have met a total of 189 times in their history, 90 of them in the top flight.

Their last meeting was a friendly at El Sardinero in the 2019-20 season, which Racing won 2-1.
