Maddi Torre, who has signed her new contract togetehr with the president, Jon Uriarte, has expressed her delight at returning to Athletic Club. Seven years later, she has become an experienced and versatile player. In her first words as a red-and-white player, she stresses that she faces her second spell as a Lioness with "a lot of enthusiasm" and considers that "there is no better time to return to Athletic, to give continuity to a dream that I was once able to make come true."

Now, the physiognomy of the squad has changed compared to her previous stay, Maddi Torre herself has become one of the most experienced players in the competition.

"I've gone from having been in a dressing room with veteran players, very experienced and the best in their time, as happened in my previous period, to being with players who have just come through the ranks, who have a lot of talent and ambition to be able to stand out at the Club.

I'm going to try to contribute as much as I can, to help the younger players with my experience."
