Garazi Fácila signs for Athletic Club until 2026

Athletic Club and Garazi Fácila (23 years old) have reached an agreement for the defender to sign as a red and white player until 2026. The player from Lodosa, who plays as a left-back, arrives on a free transfer from Deportivo Alavés, where she has played 45 games in the top flight in the last two seasons.

Garazi trained with CD Lodosa, CD Pradejón and CD Mariño before being signed by CA Osasuna, where he played for two seasons. It was there that Deportivo Alavés took advantage of their promotion to sign the player from Navarre, who is characterised by her physical prowess.

The signing ceremony took place in San Mamés, with the president, Jon Uriarte, and the women's sporting director, Xabi Arrieta, present.

"I want to prove myself and earn the coach's trust so that I can play as much as possible."
