Athletic Club gets underway with a great response from the fans
The players of the men's first team pass the medical examinations and start the training camp in Lezama
31 Athletic players will undergo the usual medical tests between today and tomorrow at the start of the season, supervised by Josean Lekue, head of the Club's medical services, and Doctor Pablo Aranda, from the Igualatorio Médico Quirurgico (IMQ) Zorrozaurre.
The men's first team, coached by Ernesto Valverde, also faced a double training camp session, with a second session open to the public this afternoon at a crowded Lezama's Field 1.
The fitness tests with IMQ include a medical history, an electrocardiogram at rest, an echocardiogram and a maximal stress test.
