Athletic Club Women have signed Nahikari García on a free transfer from Real Madrid, with the forward putting pen to paper on a deal which runs through to June 30, 2025.
The 26-year-old has spent the last two seasons with Real Madrid, where she was coached by David Aznar. Before that she had become Real Sociedad's all time top goalscorer with 104 goals. She has also been capped 17 times at international level and was part of the Spain squad the 2019 World Cup.
"It's a place with a special philosophy and I think that makes it special," Nahikari said about her move to Athletic. "That simple fact motivates any player and I'm eager to help in any way I can. I want to continue to grow, to do things well and do my bit."
