Athletic to face U. E. Rubí in first round of 23/24 Copa
The Lions will get this year's Copa campaign underway on October 31 or November 1-2 at Municipal de Can Rosès against the team from Valles
Athletic Club will face U. E. Rubí in the first round of the 2023-24 Copa. The single-leg tie will be played on 30 October or November 1-2 in the town of Rubí, which is close to Barcelona.

Due to the rules of the draw, Copa matches are always held at the stadium of the team in the lower division. In this case, U. E. Rubí compete in the Lliga Elit, part of the sixth tier of Spanish football.
The Catalan outfit are ninth in Group 1 of the Lliga Elit and have seven points after two wins, a draw and two defeats.
It will be the first official clash between U. E. Rubí and Athletic Club.
