Athletic Club's no.1 now stands in front of The Cathedral, where he will welcome thousands of Athleticzales every weekend
The place chosen could not have been better: right in front of San Mamés, at the point where Licenciado Poza street meets Luis Briñas street on the stadium's concourse.
A privileged space, a part of the route most Athleticzales take on their pilgrimage to San Mames every weekend.
From today onwards, as thousands of Athleticzales march in procession down Pozas to the stadium, in addition to being drawn in by the majestic San Mames at the end of the road, they will be greeted on arrival by Jose Angel Iribar.
