BBK to sponsor Athletic Genuine for another year

Athletic Club Foundation and the BBK Foundation, Athletic Genuine's main sponsor, have come together for another year in Lezama to support this initiative in favour of inclusive sport and equal opportunities.

Nora Sarasola and Koldo Bilbao, representing the BBK Foundation, accompanied the Genuine team on a special day as the squad had their official photo taken on Tuesday.

As Nora Sarasola pointed out: "At BBK we promote initiatives that encourage healthy and inclusive sport for all ages, both in terms of emotional and physical skills.

Sport is enthusiasm, it's a team, and it's also a very useful tool for the development of people because it promotes physical and mental wellbeing. In short, sport makes us better people and sport makes Bizkaia a better place."

Likewise, Athletic's community department director, Johana Ruiz-Olabuenaga, AC Foundation's project manager, Galder Reguera, and club director Laura Ruiz de Azúa made sure they did not miss this important annual event.

LaLiga Genuine 2023/24 kicked off at the end of November, bringing together 46 participating teams in Tarragona. As part of the Inclusion Group, Athletic Genuine's challenge this season is the same as always: to share rather than compete and, if possible, to achieve a new Fair Play trophy, a trophy they have won in the previous five editions.
