LaLiga Genuine Final Phase

The 2023/24 LaLiga Genuine season comes to an end and Athletic Club Fundazioa play this weekend in Getafe in the Final Phase. Placed in the Inclusion Group, one of the two groups in which the 46 participating LaLiga clubs are divided, the Genuine once again reaches the final matches with a chance to be crowned Fair Play champions for the sixth consecutive time. With 360 points, the highest possible score at this stage of the competition, the lions and lionesses are tied with four other teams: UD Ibiza, Real Sporting de Gijón, Club Gimnástic de Tarragona and Córdoba CF.

In a league where it is more important to share than to compete, every match, win or lose, is a victory. Athletic Genuine faces each matchday with the desire to enjoy and make people enjoy themselves, and their twentieth place in the table is nothing more than an anecdote.

In the first phase, Athletic Genuine faced Valencia CF, UD Almeria and UD Ibiza. In the second phase, their opponents were Córdoba CF, Club Gimnástic de Tarragona, and Levante UD EDI. In the third phase, they played CA Osasuna, Real Zaragoza and RCD Mallorca.

In this IV and last phase, the matches will be against Fundació Futbol Base Reus (Saturday at 11:00), SD Huesca (Saturday at 19:00) and Real Sporting de Gijón (Sunday at 11:00).
