The Lions to return to training on 8 July
So far, Athletic have confirmed five friendly matches to prepare for the new season: Burgos CF, Real Racing Club, SD Eibar, Aston Villa and VfB Stuttgart
Athletic Club's men's first team will return to training next Monday 8 July at Lezama.
Divided into two groups, on Monday and Tuesday the Lions will combine the usual medical examinations and fitness tests (cardio and functional assessment) with training on the pitch. On Wednesday, 10 July, they will have their first joint session on the pitch.
For the moment, Athletic have five confirmed friendly matches to prepare for the new season: on 20 July they will face Burgos CF at El Plantío, on 24 July Real Racing Club at Lasesarre, on 1 August SD Eibar at Las Llanas, on 7 August Aston Villa in Birmingham and on 10 August VfB Stuttgart in Germany.
