Athletic issued the RFEF with a medical report on Nico Williams' injury that prevented him from being called up for the last LaLiga match and the player, following the protocol established by the Federation, has gone to the training camp so that the Spanish national team's doctors can assess his availability
Athletic Club issued a medical report to the RFEF on Saturday morning regarding the physical condition of Nico Williams, due to the pelvis injury that left him out of the squad for the last LaLiga match against Girona FC.
The injury occurred during the first half of the Europa League clash against AZ Alkmaar. The winger played the entire match and was decisive in the victory over AZ Alkmaar.
Now, following the established protocol, Spanish national team'smedical services are studying the Athletic Club player's injury to assess whether he is fit to continue in the training camp and if he will be available for the two matches, or one of them, in the UEFA Nations League against Denmark (12 October in Murcia) and Serbia (15 October in Córdoba).
