The tournament

San Mamés and the Lezama training centre will once again open their doors to hundreds of clubs from all over Spain and also to those international teams that want to feel the Zurigorri experience in a privileged environment.

At the last two editions, teams such as FC Barcelona, Atlético de Madrid, Toulouse FC, SD Eibar, La Liga Academy, Real Oviedo, CD Mirandés, Villarreal CF, Deportivo Alavés, Real Zaragoza, Racing Santander and Athletic Club have played at The Cathedral.

Each participating team will play at least three matches in the group phase (groups of four teams) and one more in the final phase, the latter divided into gold phase (1st and 2nd place in the group phase) and silver phase (3rd and 4th place).

The 11-a-side football matches will consist of two halves of 25 minutes each and the 7-a-side football matches will consist of two halves of 20 minutes each. The matches will take place in different venues throughout Bizkaia, with all clubs guaranteed at least one match in Lezama and the possibility of playing in San Mamés if they manage to reach the finals in the gold phase.

All the schedule, results, standings, statistics and venue information will be available live on the official AC CUP app. The tournament will kick off for the local teams on Tuesday 3 June and on Friday 6 June for international teams and teams from the rest of Spain. The finals and the closing ceremony will take place on Sunday 9 June.

Grand opening event at San Mamés

One of the most anticipated moments for participants and attendees is the AC CUP 2025 opening event, which will take place at San Mamés on Friday 6 June. The teams will participate in a parade on the pitch and then enjoy a big party with musical performances, a light show and more surprises to be announced.
