Around 800 Athleticzales in Istanbul

Athletic fans will need to get to the stadium via a compulsory shuttle buses that will leave from Sultanahmet Square at 14:30 (Istanbul time)

Los Leones won't be alone in Istanbul. Close to 800 loyal Athleticzales will be in Turkiye to cheer on their club against Fenerbahçe SK.

The match will take place on an unusual day and at an unusual time for the Europa League: Wednesday at 18:30 (local time, 16:30 in the Basque Country). Getting to and entering Fenerbahçe's Sukru Saracoglu stadium will also be strange for the Athleticzales.

The only way to enter the stadium will be via the bus shuttle departing from Sultanahmet Square at 14:30 (Istanbul time). According to the established plan, 11 buses (plus two reserve buses), escorted by the local police, will leave Sultanahmet Square for the stadium.

Athleticzales staying close to the stadium may - while avoiding wearing Athletic Club badges as much as possible - go straight to the open-air car park Salı Pazarı Otopark at 15:10 (Istanbul time) from where they will walk to the stadium with a police escort.

The buses will arrive to the stadium around 15:30, the time at which the gates will open for Athletic Club supporters. That is, around three hours before kick-off (18:30 in Istanbul, 16:30 in Bilbao).

Upon leaving the stadium once the match is over, the Athletic fans will have to take the shuttle buses again, this time back to Sultanahmet Square. The buses are scheduled to leave the stadium at 21:30 (Turkish time).
