Athletic Club launches its brand campaign, Unique In The World, with a video and a clothing collection inspired by its unique identity

A few months ago, Athletic Club created UNIQUE.EUS, a microsite designed to take advantage the men's first team's return to European competition to promote our brand image on an international level.

The club also released two trailers that generated great interest, accompanied by a countdown clock marking the official launch of this campaign.

Monday December 23 marks the official unveiling of the campaign, which includes not only a promotional video but also a clothing collection inspired by the club's distinctive identity, now available in physical stores and set to be released online shortly.

Athletic Club has always been aware that its distinctive philosophy evokes both sympathy and admiration when people around the world first hear about a club with 42 official trophies that has always played in the top division, all while competing exclusively with players born or raised in the Basque Country. This philosophy not only reinforces the club’s local identity but also conveys a message of loyalty and pride toward its roots.

In 2018, during a European match against Olympique de Marseille, San Mamés first displayed the Unique In The World tifo, which has since accompanied the team during special matches at The Cathedral, the Copa del Rey final in La Cartuja, and the subsequent trophy celebration aboard La Gabarra.

Now Athletic Club is taking is taking this slogan a step further by showcasing our brand during our European campaign, sharing the club's unique traits with those who identify with them and wish to join the Athleticzale community.

The marketing campaign has two specific objectives: to expand Athletic Club's brand recognition at both the national and international levels and to enhance its brand visibility by growing the global Athleticzale community.

With a message that tells the club's story and its profound connection to the city of Bilbao and the Industrial Revolution, the campaign highlights how Athletic has, over decades, become a reflection of the hardworking, innovative, and resilient spirit of the Basque people.

Every detail represents the story we continue to forge, strike by strike, on the pitch and beyond. It's a fight for personal identity that allows anyone to identify with Athletic Club and in its example find the inspiration and strength to be themselves. Be You. Be Unique.
