Before we face Rangers FC at Ibrox, Athletic caught up with the current CD Navalcarnero foward to discuss his Scottish roots and his time at Lezama Academy
Born in Biscay to a Scottish mother and Basque father, Ewan Urain would visit his Scottish family in Lockerbie most summers.
However, after joining Athletic's academy in 2015, such trips became much more infrequent during his seven seasons with the club, a time in which he was also called up to the Scotland Under-21s squad.
The forward made three friendly appearances for the Athletic senior team but never an official debut. After stints at SD Amorebieta, Unionistas CF and CD Badajoz, Ewan is now turning out for CD Navalcarnero.
