Information for Athleticzales in Glasgow
Rangers FC has provided Athletic Club with important information for the 2,600 fans travelling to Glasgow for the first leg of our Europa League quarter-final.
Rangers FC has given Athletic Club with some useful information for the 2,600 Athleticzales heading to the Scottish city to support Los Leones at Ibrox on Thursday night.
The Europa League quarter-final first leg will take place at 20:00 BST (21:00 CEST).
- The recommended areas for Athleticzales in the build-up to the match are George Square and Merchan City, centrally located areas full of bars and restaurants.
- The Scottish authorities recommend avoiding Paisley Road West, a meeting place for Rangers FC fans on match days.
- Entry to Ibrox Stadium will be permitted from 18:30. Athletic supporters are advised to arrive well in advance.
- A personal identification document will be required for when tickets are checked before entering the stadium.
- The suggested option for getting to the stadium from the city centre is the underground. Athletic fans should get off at Govan station, rather than Ibrox, due to the location of the stadium's away end (Gates GW1-3, north-west section).
- You will not be allowed to enter the stadium with megaphones, flagpoles or flags that measure more than 3x2 metres.
- Smoking and vaping are prohibited inside the Ibrox Stadium.
In addition, Rangers FC have organised a tour of their stadium in Spanish on Friday 11 April at 11:30. Interested Athleticzales can book their tickets here.
