Information for Athleticzales travelling to Manchester

Athletic Club will not be alone in their attempt to mount a comeback in Manchester. More than 3,000 loyal Athletic fan will support the Lions against United this Thursday at Old Trafford (21:00 CEST).

The Manchester authorities recommend Shambles Square as a meeting point for Athleticzales travelling to England. There are a variety of restaurants, bars and even a shopping centre nearby.

The best way to get from there to Old Trafford is to take the tram from Exchange Square station, located next to Shambles Square, towards East Disbury stopping at Trafford Bar (pink line). The journey time is approximately 15 minutes. The tram service will operate both to and from the stadium.

Athletic fans will enter the stadium through gate E30, located in the South-East corner. The turnstiles will open two hours before kick-off. Access to the stadium will involve a visual check of your ticket, a pat-down and a scanning of your ticket at the turnstiles.
