Special metro service at the start and end of the match, and after Óscar de Marcos farewell
Metro Bilbao will provide special services in order to make it easier for people travelling to San Mames to watch Athletic Club vs FC Barcelona and the subsequent tribute to Óscar de Marcos on Sunday.
Once the match and the celebration are over, entry to the metro system will be allowed at the stations in San Mamés, Indautxu and Moyua.
These are Metro Bilbao's recommendations for the Athleticzales coming to The Cathedral on Sunday:
- When exiting the train, have your Barik card or ticket in hand to pass through the ticket gates quicker.
- Top up your Barik or buy your return ticket in advance to avoid waiting at the ticket machines.
- Follow the instructions of station staff at all times.
For security reasons, for approximately 45 minutes before the match (20:15-21:00), passengers can only exit from San Mamés station. To enter the Metro, go to Indautxu station.
