The Opponents

Head coach: Hansi Flick

The German coach, who took over at the Camp Nou in last summer, has won the LaLiga and Copa double at the first time of asking, defeating Real Madrid to lift the Copa and securing the league title with three games left to play thanks to a 0-2 win against RCD Espanyol

A midfielder in his playing days, Hansi turned out for SV Sanhausen, Bayern Munich and 1.FC Köln, before injuries cut short his career.

As a manager he started out at local team Victoria Bammental before taking the reigns at 1899 Hoffenheim. After leaving Hoffenheim, Flick became an assistant manager and sporting director at RB Leipzig, working under Giovanni Trappatoni.

In 2006, he became the German national team's assistant mananger, helping Joachim Löw lead the side to World Cup glory in 2014.

After a brief spell as Hoffenheim's sporting director, Flick became Niko Kovac's right-hand man at Bayern Munich in July 2019, but was given the top job on a interim basis in November that year. Decent results saw him handed the full-time position.

He led Bayern through one of the most successful periods in their history, losing just seven of his 86 matches in charge, while also helping the Bavarian outfit win two Bundesligas, a DFB-Pokal and the Champions League.

Flick left Bayern to take over the national job from Löw, but poor performances, particularly at the 2022 World Cup saw him removed of his duties in September 2023.

Top scorer: Robert Lewandowski

The 36-year-old Polish striker shows no signs of slowing down, finding the back of the net 25 times in 36 LaLiga appearances this season.

One of the modern greats, Lewandowski score a combined 447 goals during his spells at Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich.

Since joining the Blaugrana ahead of the 2022/23 campaign, he has scored a total of 99 goals in 146 matches, 67 of those strikes coming in 102 LaLiga appearances.
