The striker puts pen to paper on a first-team contract and will do pre-season with the senior squad
Athletic Club have extended Urko Izeta's contract at the club until 30 June 2027.
The forward, whose previous agreement was due to expire this 30 June, has signed a first-team deal and will take part in the pre-season training under Ernesto Valverde.
Izeta, 25, has once again proven himself to be an relentless goalscorer. His 15 goals for CD Mirandés in his first campaign in the LaLiga Hypermotion, two of them in the promotion play-offs, demonstrate his ongoing growth and development. One goal every three games in 2,651 minutes. A spectacular record.
The centre-forward has scored goals at every level. Between Arenas (19) and Bilbao Athletic (21), he netted 40 times in the Segunda Federación. In his only season playing in the Primera Federación, he scored six goals for SD Amorebieta and four for our reserves.
