Mariasun Quiñones set to depart Athletic Club
The goalkeeper calls time on four seasons as a Lioness, during which she played 71 matches
Goalkeeper Mariasun Quiñones will not continue at Athletic Club next season.
Mariasun arrived to Lezama in the summer of 2021 from Real Sociedad and, in her four seasons as a Zurigorri, she has made 71 official appearances.
The 29-year-old shotstopper made her debut on the opening day of the 2021/22 season and shared goalkeeping duties with Andrea de la Nava. She later competed for the no.1 spot with Amaia Peña and Adriana Nanclares.
In this last campaign, Quiñones featured in two matches. A Copa clash against Cacereño and the final Liga F fixture of the season against FC Barcelona.
