Pablo Orbaiz joins Ernesto Valverde's coaching staff

Pablo Orbaiz returns to Lezama. And he does so to join Ernesto Valverde's coaching staff, with the dual role of becoming assistant coach and carrying out individualised work with the first team. After 318 games in 12 seasons as a Lion, he returns to Athletic Club with a decade of experience in grassroots and professional football.
 
After hanging up his boots at Valle de Egüés in the Third Division, where he also coached a children's team, Orbaiz joined Tajonar. At CA Osasuna he has coached the under 15-s team, he has been assistant coach of the under 16-s youth team and he has worked in Methodology and individualised work. In the First Division, he was assistant coach to Leo Franco at SD Huesca.
 
Orbaiz thus joins the project of Ernesto Valverde, who was his coach at both Athletic Club and Olympiacos FC, an extra incentive, no doubt, for his exciting debut as coach at Lezama.
