From Castore, the new kit, entirely in turquoise green, honours the red and white supporters' clubs around the world
Athletic Club and Castore present the third kit that the lions will wear during the new season.
The kit, completely in turquoise green and made with AerTek fabric, pays tribute to the 467 supporters clubs that the Club has around the world. It does so by means of a print of intertwined shields that symbolise the unbreakable bond between the fans, the players and the Basque people: an eternal connection that extends from Bilbao to all corners of the world.
It is a recognition of those who are always there. In the good times, but also when the team has needed it most, both in La Catedral and on any pitch in the world, no matter how far away it may be.
With this third kit, Athletic Club and Castore bring back green to the team's official kit. A colour that has been customary for the last 15 years, but which is now being used for the first time by the English firm. European victories, Iñaki Williams' goal-scoring debut in Turin or the qualification for the 2020 Cup final thanks to Yuri Berchiche's agonising goal in Granada remain in the fans' memory.
