Athletic Club squad numbers for the 2025/26 season
Our men's first-team players have been given their shirt numbers for the new campaign
With just a few days to go before the 2025/26 season begins, Athletic Club's men's first-team players have been assigned their squad numbers (subject to possible changes during the campaign).
Among the changes, Gorka Guruzeta takes over the number 11 vacated by Álvaro Djaló after the latter's loan move to Qatar. New signings Jesús Areso and Robert Navarro will wear the numbers 12 and 23, respectively.
Adama Boiro, who now has a senior contract, will don the number 19. Meanwhile, Álex Padilla, Unai Vencedor, Adu Ares, Nico Serrano and Urko Izeta, returning after their respective loans to Pumas, Zaragoza, Real Sporting and CD Mirandés, will wear no.27, no.13, no.14, no.22 and no.25.

Bilbao Athletic players
Athletic Club have so far registered four Bilbao Athletic players with LaLiga so they can compete in the top-flight during the 2025/26 season. Those academy players, who have youth contracts, will wear the following numbers: Mikel Santos (26), Peio Canales (28), Alejandro Rego (30) and Jon De Luis (34).
