Athletic to kick off the Premier International Cup at Old Trafford

Athletic Club will kick off the Premier International Cup on Wednesday, a tournament in which last season we reached the semi-finals. And they are doing so in style, visiting Manchester United at Old Trafford at 20:00 CEST.

This year, they will have to juggle these matches with those of the Youth League, balancing everything at Lezama with these competitions and the league tournaments.

On this occasion, a significant part of the squad travelling is from Bilbao Athletic, led by their manager, Jokin Aranbarri, and with the reserve team's coaching staff and Xabi Etxeita on the expedition.

Eighteen players are travelling: Gamen and Galindo (goalkeepers); Unamuno, Dani Pérez, Ebro, Barandalla, Carril, Eghosa and Beñat Larrea (defenders); Gibelalde, Albóniga-Menor, Sola, Unax Urzaiz (midfielders); Gift, Huestamendia, Hierro, Vizcay and Cobos (forwards).
