Athletic squad to face Leeds United in the Premier International Cup
Under-18 players form a great part of the squad heading to the LNER Community Stadium on Wednesday night (20:00 CEST)
Athletic Club will take on Leeds United at York City FC’s LNER Community Stadium in their Premier League International Cup Matchday 2 fixture on Wednesday night.
Our youngsters competed well in their opening-day loss to Manchester United at Old Trafford, but will be looking to go a step further and take all three points in northeast England this time around.
The squad will be led by Adrián Esteve, who will have Gorka Azkorra, Jokin Gracia and Jon Gaizka Alzugaray by his side in the dugout.
Eighteen footballers will travel to York: Tasio and Zugatz (goalkeepers); Álex Torres, Pablo Martínez, Liceaga, Carril, Ilyas y Urrestarazu (defenders); Pablo Iturria, Encinas, Beñat García, Enzo, Adrián Álvarez y Unax (midfielders); Alain Cobos, Oyharçabal, Cueva y Andrés (forwards).
