The Lions will face Ourense CF, a Primera Federacion rival, in the round of 32. Ourense CF have already knocked Girona FC and Real Oviedo out of the competition this season
Athletic Club will face Ourense CF in the round of 32 of the Copa del Rey. The Lions, who have been exempt from playing the first two rounds of the competition due to their participation in the 2026 Super Cup, will make their first apperance in this year's edition at O Couto on 18 December (19:00 CET).
The Galicians, who play in the Primera Federación, third competition in Spain's football, welcome Athletic as champions of the Copa Federación, an honour that guaranteed them a match against a Supercopa rival (Athletic, Barça, Real Madrid or Atlético de Madrid) at their stadium.
They are one of the 32 teams remaining in the Copa after eliminating Girona FC and Real Oviedo, both Primera División teams, at home.
