Welcome for the team bus at San Mames

Athletic Club invites Zurigorri fans to gather on the San Mames esplanade around 19:15 CET to cheer on the Lions as the bus arrives to the stadium before Wednesday's Copa semi-final first leg against Real Sociedad

Athletic Club calls on all our supporters to gather on San Mames esplanade, opposite Calle Felipe Serrate, at around 19:15 CET on Wednesday evening to welcome and cheer on the team as they arrive to the stadium before our semi-final first leg against Real Sociedad

The reception is set to begin at the corner of Sabino Arana and Felipe Serrate, once the bus turns the corner towards the stadium car park, and will end at the AC Museum, meaning that Camino de la Ventosa will be inaccessible.

Calle Felipe Serrate will only be open to fans on one side. The entire pavement and path on the Misericordia side will be inaccessible along the bus' entire route.

As a result, the Zurigorri fans will have to gather mainly on the esplanade and on the section of Felipe Serrate pavement leading up to the esplanade, but only on the side opposite Misericordia. It is recommended to access the esplanade via Calle Licenciado Poza.

For safety reasons, the entire route of the bus reception will be fully fenced off, from the Sabino Arana curve to the AC Museoa entrance. The club is responsible for the organisation and smooth running of the reception.

The stadium gates will open once the reception has ended and the barriers around the venue have been removed.

All together!

The first leg of our Copa semi-final on Wednesday night has all the ingredients to bring fans together behind the team.

With a view to organising further receptions in the future, we would like to ask the Zurigorri supporters to behave respectfully, avoiding actions that could endanger the safety of those attending, and refrain from using pyrotechnics that could cause unwanted damage.
