The tall forward spoke to the media about his knee injury and his hopes for the rest of the season
Maroan Sannadi admitted to feeling in "great shape" as he returns to full training with the team after an extended period on the sidelines.
The striker has been out of action for four months after undergoing on the meniscus cartilage in his right knee.
“I'm very happy," he said at a press conference on Wednesday morning. "I've been away for a long time and I'm coming back feeling very positive.
"The team has some very important matches coming up. I'm here to do my best and help us achieve our objectives."
Maroan said his time away from the pitch has given him time to analyse his game in detail.
He added: "I've looked at my positioning and all my decisions in every match. Now I'm desperate to play again. I've got confidence in myself and I'm in great shape to give it my all."
The Moroccan international highlighted the support he's received from his teammates over the past few months, saying: "Coming here every day and spending time with these guys is something special that not every team has. I'm really grateful."
Maroan also touched on how injuries have affected the squad and how he feels about the team's prospects heading into the final stretch of this season.
"I think the players have given their all in every match," he said. "We've had a lot of injuries and now that we're all gradually coming back, it's a confidence boost for everyone.
"We'll achieve our objectives and give the fans what they deserve."
