Left-back Adama Boiro was signed from CA Osasuna midway through the 2023/24 campaign. Boiro has made excellent progress and offers vital competition to Yuri Berchiche and Iñigo Lekue.

The Senegalese-born defender has now established himself in the senior squad, making a total of 20 appearances in 2024/25. He got a first goal last season, scoring in a Europa League win over IF Elfsborg in which he provided an assist for Gorka Guruzeta as well.

Also comfortable playing further up the flank, the rapid full-back is continuing to hone his skills at the elite level.
